The club was founded in 2007 as a result of the success within school gymnastics of Grafton Junior School and Robert Clack Secondary School. After seeing the success of pupils from these two schools over many years the decision to expand and open up classes to all was made.

Seven coaches were found and nervously went on their first coaching course. This has now grown over the years with more than twenty coaches working for us, and developing their skills and experience through the British Gymnastics coaching structure.

In October 2009, Westbury Farm in Upminster was purchased which is home to a large barn which will be converted into a fully fitted full time gymnastics facility. This will enable us to open up gymnastics opportunities for all, from birth to……100+!!!  The club continues to work hard to gain the necessary funding to make this dream a reality.

The Main Aims of the club are:

  • For gymnasts to reach their potential
  • For gymnasts to have fun and make friendships
  • For gymnasts to learn in a safe environment
  • For gymnasts to challenge themselves to succeed.
  • To treat each gymnast as an individual and plan their work accordingly.
