COACHes
We work hard to develop coaches to provide fun and structured gymnastics lessons in Essex.
Our coaches come from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences – most were gymnasts themselves, but we also work with talented people from other sports and help them develop their skills in the world of gymnastics.
Our Leadership programme brings volunteers from 11 years plus and they are trained in a range of different skills to help them to develop and to support our gymnasts to achieve their potential.
Coaches are trained and mentored through their coaching qualifications, following recognised coaching pathways, including UKCC, Gym Club Solutions and UK Coaching qualifications.
We invest heavily in continual professional development for coaching, judging, safeguarding, first aid, and generic sports training to support them in being the very best they can be.

MEET OUR COACHES
There is a great sense of family, the coaches care deeply for their gymnasts and push them for success. There are also many opportunities available for gymnasts - festivals, competitions and classes. Coaching has helped me learn how to teach new skills and organise different stations. It has been a way to gain experience in leadership, organisation and communication that I would be able to use further in education and other jobs.
