OPPORTUNITIES

Catleaps Gymnastics offers gymnastics in Essex. At Catleaps we passionately believe that gymnastics is much more than just learning technical skills. It is a place where a child’s development can thrive teaching qualities such as resilience, confidence, pride, dedication and perseverance. This places importance on valuing the child as an individual giving them room to grow in a supported environment.

We ensure all children have the opportunity to perform, make memories and have valuable experiences through out programmes of competition, recognition, festivals, displays, workshops and volunteering.

Historically, gymnastics has been a sport for very young girls, but through our programme of opportunities and inspirational coaching we have ensured that our boys side of the club is thriving and both our male and female gymnasts stay well into their teens. The retention of gymnasts is a real strength of our programme.

Certificates, Awards

RECOGNITION

Selected gymnasts are awarded a certificate each session to congratulate them for their good work.

Each year, we also host a presentation evening (Catleaps Celebration Evening) for all members of the club, their family and friends.

Trophies are awarded to coaches and gymnasts for excellence in ability or attitude.

We have celebrity guests who attend to present the awards and meet the gymnasts. Parents and gymnasts are invited to vote for their coach of the year.

Catleaps Gymnastics in Essex

Competition

We hold the largest Competition for Gymnastics in Essex. Our competition structure is progressive and allows gymnasts to learn individual elements on floor and perform them as a routine in front of spectators.

Gymnasts will also perform a vault and take part in a group warmup.

We are excited to be able to host an event in such a big arena.

This is such an excellent opportunity for all of our members (subject to minimum competition age) to take part in.

Performance, Displays

FESTIVALS

We are hugely proud of our festival squad; one of the larger ones in London. It is a dedicated team of gymnasts – girls and boys, from the age of 4-22 who perform amazing routines in festivals around London and nationally.

We have performed at Gymfusion and Festivals in London, Middlesbrough, Stoke and Cardiff.

We have been invited to perform at key corporate events, such as the Best Beginnings Anniversary Dinner at Guildhall alongside former Commonwealth Rings Champion Stevie Frew and at the Carphone Warehouse Event at the Natural History Museum alongside Mimi Cesar, Commonwealth Rhythmic Gymnast for England.
